About the Fellowship

Food and Nutrition Fellows (FNFs) are University of Richmond students who have summer internships with nonprofits in Richmond that focus on food, nutrition, and urban agriculture.

The goals of the FNF cohort are to:

  • create a professional and collaborative network for students, staff, and participating nonprofits

  • leverage the knowledge, skills, and resources of our community partner network in the personal and professional development of our students

  • leverage the knowledge, skills, and time of Fellows to increase the capacity of community partners to meet their organizational objectives

  • serve as a model for high-level public service fellowships in our city and across our state
